Type your options, one per line, and spin: the wheel picks a winner at random and names it below. Use it to choose a restaurant, pick a name for a raffle or classroom game, or turn it into a yes or no wheel with one tap. Free, no sign-up, works on any device.

How it works

The wheel is split into equal slices, one per option, so every option has the same chance: with 4 options each has 1 in 4 (25%), with 10 options each has 1 in 10. The winner is drawn before the animation starts, with your browser's cryptographically secure random generator (crypto.getRandomValues) and rejection sampling, which avoids the small bias a plain modulo would give some options. The spin is just there to show it. You need at least two options. Blank lines are ignored, and to make an option twice as likely, simply add it twice. Everything runs in your browser; your list is never uploaded.

Worked example

Four friends can't decide on dinner. Enter Pizza, Sushi, Tacos and Burgers on separate lines and press Spin: each has a 25% chance. The wheel lands on Tacos. Want Pizza to count double? Add it a second time: Pizza now has 2 of 5 slices (40%) and the others 20% each.

Frequently asked questions

Is the wheel really random?

Yes. The winning slice is drawn with your browser's cryptographically secure random generator and unbiased rejection sampling, so every slice has the same chance.

How do I make a yes or no wheel?

Press the Yes / No button: the options become Yes and No, each with a 50% chance, and you can spin right away.

How many options can I add?

As many as you like, one per line, with a minimum of two; the slices get thinner and long labels are shortened on the wheel, but the winner is always shown in full.

Can I give one option better odds?

Yes. Add the same option on several lines; each line is its own slice, so an option listed twice is twice as likely.

Is my list saved or shared?

No. Your options stay in your browser and are never sent to a server.
